Cadenzato Cadenzato - Commissioned by the Raleigh Ringers for the 2001 Capital Area Young Ringers Festival, this original work is by a seasoned children's writer and clinician, Tim Waugh. Marked "with fire, with a strong cadence", martellato and mallet techniques are scored to accomplish that purpose.

Calypso Christmas is a fun flight of fancy, a taste of what a few familiar Christmas tunes might sound like in the Islands. So, take off your winter coat and prepare to head down Caribbean way for a mini-vacation!

Caravan to Bethlehem Caravan to Bethlehem - The faith and obedience of the Wise Men to God's sign of the star is captured in this musical journey across the sands to Bethlehem. Along the way there's a stop at Herod's house, but very quickly you once again feel the sway of the camels. Sparkling mallet techniques and chimes find the travelers kneeling before the Christ child. With a four-measure "warning", they're off again toward home as the music fades into the distance. Optional percussion includes triangle, finger cymbals, and tambourine. "Caravan to Bethlehem" is fresh and different for Christmas!

And, if you are thinking the music must be fraught with ( ), [ ], and < >, then think again! There are very few of these markings, making the music easy to read. The tune is WARRENTON from The Sacred Harp. It is set in a lively, joyful manner with all ringers involved. A great selection for a mass ringing involving choirs of various octaves.
